My mom my sister in law came to my house and we made these chocolate covered strawberries and wraps for two of my cousin's bridal shower on the 3rd. It was a lot of fun and we were surprised how easy they were to make.

Jason and I have been hooked on the wraps we made. I have made them almost every night for dinner since then.

Race For The Cure

On Saturday I ran Race for the Cure with my mom. She had breast cancer and had a double mastectomy in January. Her sister (my aunt Joan) had breast cancer also it was her 25 year anniversary being cancer free this weekend. My mom's sister in law (my aunt Dorothy ) had it 2 years ago. It is a touching race to run or walk and is hard not to get teary eyed. I think everyone should do it once in their life. It is neat to see all the women that have survived the cancer and to see their love ones running to support the cause to find a cure for them or for someone they have lost to cancer. Here are some pictures that I got of the race.

They have all the survivors to a walk around the gate way mall and then all stand on the stairs and are recognized for being survivors. This isn't half of the survivors. More than 17,000 people signed up to run the race. Susan Komen is an awesome lady!

IKEA

I just need to vent about Ikea. On Saturday I purchased a new bedspread from Ikea. I got it home and it looked like it would match the red walls in my bedroom. When I took it out of the package and put the pillow cases on the red's don't match it makes my wall look pink. I tried to take it back today and they said they won't take it back because it was open. I am mad because I put the pillow case on my bed for 1 minute to realize it didn't match. I tried to go on there website to complain and you cannot email them so I have to write a letter and mail it to them to complain about there crappy customer service and return policy. I will have to be something really good for me to shop there again. Thank heaven’s for Ebay I am going to try to sell the bedding online now.
